Registration & Refunds

When is the final day to register?

  • Registration for the conference closes on October 1, 2019 or when we have reached capacity.

What’s your cancellation policy? Are there refunds or transfer of tickets?

  • Tickets are fully transferable.

  • All refund requests must be made by September 1, 2019.

  • Refunds will be full value, MINUS $50 to cover administrative and processing fees.

  • Due to Prayer Current's advance investment based on your commitment, there will be no refunds after September 1, 2019.


Schedule

What time does it start and end? When should I plan to arrive and leave?

Registration opens at 5:30 on Monday, November 4. Reception and first session will begin at 6:30pm. If you are staying at the conference hotel, you may check in anytime after 3pm. The last session ends on Friday, November 8 at 11:15 a.m. A detailed schedule will be released at a later date.

Please book your flights accordingly. You are free to book flights departing Vancouver 1 pm or later on Friday, November 8.

Can I arrive late or leave early?

The conference is set-up so that you arrive during registration and leave after the closing session. There is a continuous thread to the content so arriving late will be disruptive. We ask that you not book to leave early, as much of the summary and planning action steps forward culminates in the final hours of the conference. It has also proven to be somewhat disruptive to the group dynamic.

Reservations must be made by October 5 to secure the special rate. Bookings made after that date will be at the best available rates.

What are the transportation options?

Transportation to and from the venue hotel is your responsibility. There is a rapid public transit line (Skytrain) travelling directly  from the airport to downtown Vancouver for $7USD / $9CDN. The closest station to the hotel is Yaletown Roundhouse, which is a 25 minute ride. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the station. (Total trip 1 way works out to 35 minutes).

Taxis are a 20-25 minute ride with a fixed rate of $27USD / $35CDN. Please note that services like Uber and Lyft are NOT currently operational in Vancouver.

What about accommodations? Is there a special conference rate?

We’ve secured an extremely attractive rate for the hotel where our meetings will convene. At $135 per night, it is a very competitive rate for being right in the heart of downtown Vancouver. This exclusive special rate extends to both shoulder weekends before and after the conference dates. A special group code will be issued shortly, which you can use to book directly on the hotel page.

Will there be vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and allergy specific food options?

Yes! You can indicate this in your registration when you purchase your ticket.




Food

What meals are included?

Breakfast, lunch, coffee and snack breaks will be provided. Dinner will be on your own. A list of local restaurant choices will be provided. Vancouver is known for its dining scene.

Will there be vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and allergy specific food options?

Yes! You can indicate this in your registration when you purchase your ticket.


Technology & Photos

Can I bring technology?

You can, but we will ask that all participants go to ‘airplane mode’ during all training sessions.  We highly recommend you remain as unplugged from technology as possible so you can plug into being fully present to God and to others in the training, conversations, fellowship and prayer. Previously we have found this to make a tangible difference in the quality of our experience together.

Photo and Media Release

Prayer Current maintains a library of photos from our workshops and events. Please be advised that there will be photography and videography taken. These photos may appear for promotional purposes in printed and online materials including our brochure, marketing materials, on our website and other publications at any time. Photos will not be lent or sold to any outside party. By attending this event, you consent to this, and to the use of any images you may be a part of unless you inform us in advance. If you do not want to have your picture taken, please let our team know during registration when you check in on the first day of the conference.
