Registration & Refunds

In light of COVID-19, what is your registration process and cancellation policy? Are there refunds or transfer of tickets? 

Due to COVID-19 we are limiting registrations to a smaller number, in order to enable us to responsibly socially distance. 

  • Single registration: $600 CAD

  • Couples registration: $950 CAD

  • Registration closes on October 13, 2020 or when we have reached capacity (whichever is sooner).

  • Tickets are fully transferable. Please notify us immediately should you wish to transfer your registration.

  • A full refund will be granted anytime if the conference is canceled due to pandemic travel restrictions.

What precautions are you taking for COVID-19?

The hotel has drawn new floor plans based on a more limited capacity, as per government health regulations for proper social distancing.

Extra cleaning and sanitizing protocols are in place.

Food will be boxed or bagged (no buffet style). There will be bottled water and coffee & tea will be served in disposable cups.

While not mandatory we will encourage use of masks for indoor sessions.

I don’t know if I can make time for this. Three days is asking a lot.

Looking at how he spent his time on earth, we see that Jesus didn’t leave a busy life to pray, He left a praying life to be busy. If the Son of God chose to be in prayer as much as he did, how much more do we need prayer? 

Building a foundation of prayer personally and corporately doesn’t just happen on its own. There is no cruise control for prayer. Lasting spiritual advance is fuelled by ongoing prayer. 

Invest these three days, and you’ll yield the fruit multiple times over. 

  • Partake in rich, edifying fellowship that renews your spirit and strengthens you with resilience and hope for the road ahead. 

  • Be filled with the Spirit’s abundant power and vision to reach a lost and hurting world.

  • Receive practical training that will multiply your leadership.

If you need to be convinced, then maybe it’s not the time for you right now. We encourage you to pray and ask Jesus what his invitation to you is for this season. Can I arrive late or leave early?

The conference is set-up so that you arrive during registration and leave after the closing session. There is a continuous thread to the content so arriving late will be disruptive. We ask that you not book to leave early, as much of the summary and planning action steps forward culminates in the final hours of the conference. It has also proven to be somewhat disruptive to the group dynamic.

What time does it start and end? When should I plan to arrive and leave?

Registration opens at 7:00am on Tuesday, October 27 with breakfast at 8:00am. The first session will begin at 9:00am. If you are staying at the conference hotel, you may check in anytime after 3pm or they may be able to accommodate you if you request early check-in. The last session ends on Thursday, October 29 at 5:00pm. A detailed schedule will be released at a later date.

If you are flying in, please book your flights accordingly. Feel free to book flights departing Vancouver anytime after 6:30pm on Thursday, October 29.

How do I book at the conference hotel rate of $120 per night plus tax for single or double occupancy?

You may call the hotel directly to make your reservations.

  1. Call 1 877 660 8550.

  2. Be sure to specify that you wish to book at the Holiday Inn & Suites Downtown Vancouver.

  3. Use the code PRA to get the special conference rate.

You may also book your room online. Use this link to book your room at the guaranteed group rate.

Reservations must be made by October 16 to secure the special rate. Bookings made after that date will be at the best available rates.

What are the transportation options?

Transportation to and from the venue hotel is your responsibility. There is a rapid public transit line (Skytrain) travelling directly  from the airport to downtown Vancouver for $7USD / $9CDN. The closest station to the hotel is Yaletown Roundhouse, which is a 25 minute ride. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from this station. (Total trip 1 way works out to 35 minutes).

Taxis from the airport are a 20-25 minute ride with a fixed rate of $35CDN.

What about accommodations? Is there a special conference rate?

We’ve secured an extremely attractive rate for the hotel where our meetings will convene. At $120 per night plus tax, it is a very competitive rate considering the location in the heart of downtown Vancouver. Will there be vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and allergy specific food options?

Yes! We will contact you in advance of the conference to confirm any dietary restrictions. You will also select your meal options at this time to allow preparation for boxed meals.


Food

What meals are included?

Breakfast, lunch, coffee and snack breaks will be provided. Dinner will be on your own.

Technology & Photos

Can I bring technology?

You can, but we will ask that all participants go to ‘airplane mode’ during all training sessions.  We highly recommend you remain as unplugged from technology as possible so you can plug into being fully present to God and to others in the training, conversations, fellowship and prayer. Previously we have found this to make a tangible difference in the quality of our experience together.

Photo and Media Release

Prayer Current maintains a library of photos from our workshops and events. Please be advised that there will be photography and videography taken. These photos may appear for promotional purposes in printed and online materials including our brochure, marketing materials, on our website and other publications at any time. Photos will not be lent or sold to any outside party. By attending this event, you consent to this, and to the use of any images you may be a part of unless you inform us in advance. If you do not want to have your picture taken, please let our team know during registration when you check in on the first day of the conference.
